Our team had the pleasure of attending the AGC Build Tennessee award’s dinner to accept an Award of Excellence for Georgia Pacific’s Dixie Jackson facility. Martin Concrete completed this project alongside JE Dunn Construction and their exemplary project team. We would like to thank everyone who played a role in the execution of this project and to our Central Region team for their dedication to the project’s success.
Dixie Jackson is the newest addition to Georgia Pacific’s network of manufacturing facilities. Martin Concrete completed the concrete scope of work including 900,000 SF of SOG, over 400,000 SF of exterior paving, and 276 tilt wall panels this project also uniquely featured steel fiber reinforcement in the entire slab which improved the load bearing capacity, impact resistance and a 12% reduction in carbon emissions.
