Third Rail Studios

Third Rail Studios is a 120,000 sf movie studio complex located in Doraville, Georgia. The tilt wall panels used to construct the studio were designed to support roof spans of 148′ to successfully create the column free 40′ clear sound stage. Some panels, which sat on 15″ thick tilt panel haunches, were designed to create the large 20′ wide x 20′ tall elephant door openings required by the studio. Heavily reinforced, 11 ¼” thick panels were designed to carry the clear span roof loads.
